Here are a few of my all-time favorite web links for Kids and for Teachers that I love surfing to when I have a nanosecond or six. At most of these sites you can have fun with poetry--reading it, writing it, learning more about it, meeting some famous poets, and learning how they write.
You can even write to some of them. For me, the more I learn about poetry, as a writer and a teacher, the more magical I find it to be!
So dive in, but don’t forget to come back and see me again when you’re done in the pool and are drying off.

In particular, CLiF's programs target children in rural communities, and children who are at high risk of growing up functionally illiterate."
